Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Global Book Passport curriculum website and reading app (together, "the Service"). By purchasing a subscription or creating an account, you agree to these terms.

What you get

A subscription gives you access to:

• The Global Book Passport curriculum website, including all country units available during your subscription period.
• One or more Global Book Passport reading-app accounts (the number depends on your plan) for logging books, earning stamps, and tracking reading progress.

Access begins as soon as your account is created and lasts until your subscription expires. New country units are added regularly and are included in your subscription at no extra charge.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Accounts may not be resold or shared beyond the scope of your plan:

• Individual and Family plans are for personal household use. Child accounts are for children in your household only.
• Co-op plans are for use within the purchasing co-op or group. Accounts may be used by member families of that co-op but may not be shared outside it.

Payment

Subscriptions are available in two durations: 4 months or one full year. Payment is collected in full at the time of purchase. Subscriptions do not renew automatically — when your subscription ends, access expires and you will need to purchase again to continue.

Refunds

We offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. To request a refund, email globalbookpassport@gmail.com with the email address used at checkout. Upon refund, your curriculum access and all associated Global Book Passport app accounts will be deactivated. Refund requests made after 30 days will not be honored.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Share your login credentials or curriculum access with anyone outside your household.
• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute curriculum content for commercial purposes.
• Attempt to circumvent account or access controls.

Personal, non-commercial use — including printing activities for your own children — is fine.

Intellectual property

All curriculum content, including country units, book recommendations, activities, and recipes, is owned by Global Book Passport. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

Changes to the service

We may add, modify, or remove content from the curriculum at any time. We may also change pricing for future subscription periods. We will not change the price or terms of a subscription you have already purchased.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about specific educational outcomes. Book recommendations are curated by humans and reflect our best judgment; suitability for your child is always your call as a parent.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Global Book Passport's liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for your current subscription period.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
